TWO-TIME FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPION HAKKINEN SET FOR TOP GEAR FESTIVAL 2013
Top Gear Festival is proud to have two-time Formula One World Champion Mika Häkkinen joining the street circuit festivities this year. Michael Schumacher once remarked that the opponent he most respected in Formula One was Häkkinen; the famous Flying Finn who let his racing do the talking. Häkkinen is looking forward to being part of the Top Gear Festival action, saying, “I'm looking forward to returning to South Africa for the Top Gear Festival in Durban. I had a great time when I appeared on the Top Gear show and I'm looking forward to some exciting on track action at the Festival. I have some good memories of racing in Formula One in Kyalami and it will be great to be back in South Africa to put on a fantastic show for the crowd in Durban"”.
